John_Adams

This web page is dedicated to the memory of John Adams, Churchill Fellow and Senior Food Safety Inspector at Arun District Council until 2003.

John was recognised as a leading expert on Wild Game and through this work he became aware of the devastating impact on humans, of the tick-borne infection Lyme disease. He helped raise awareness of a disease that is still largely misunderstood and misdiagnosed in the UK. The leaflet on Ticks and Lyme that you can download from this site came about through his hard work and persistence.
