15Since this year only ends on 31st March 2010, full and final expenditure information is not yet available.   The Council's final estimate of expenditure was Â£166,719, compared with a first projection of £187,390.   This was achieved by deferring projects wherever possible, squeezing unavoidable costs to the minimum and combined with a windfall income from a legal settlement.   The pie charts below illustrate where the money was expected to go, in actual value terms and as percentages of the total, for the final estimate only.
