Local Development Scheme (LDS)
All planning documents are produced in line with the Council’s Local Development Scheme. A Local Development Scheme (LDS) sets out the plan-making programme for the preparation of the statutory development plan over a 3 year time period.
On 19 July 2023, we resolved to lift the pause to the update of the Arun Local Plan. The Local Development Scheme (LDS), considered at Planning Policy Committee on 21 September, was adopted at Full Council on 8 November 2023. Please see the LDS below.
