Cemeteries in Arun District
The cemeteries in Arun District Council are administered by the Parks & Greenspace service.
The Cemeteries Office is located at Bognor Regis Town Hall, Clarence Road, Bognor Regis and is open Monday to Thursday from 8.45a.m. to 5.15p.m. and Fridays from 8.45a.m. to 4.45p.m. (except public bank holidays).
The following cemeteries listed below are owned by the Council and maintained in conjunction with the Council’s contractors, ISS Waterers. They are currently being used for burials & ashes interments
- Chalcraft Lane Cemetery
- Bognor Regis Cemetery
- Littlehampton Cemetery
- Findon Cemetery
- Arundel Cemetery

The Council, in conjunction with their contractors, also maintain the grounds of the following closed churchyards:-

- St Nicholas, Elmer Rd, Middleton-on-sea, Bognor Regis, PO22 6ET
- St Marys of Magdalene, Bersted Street, Bognor Regis, PO22 9QE
- St James, East Ham Rd, Littlehampton, BN17 7AN
- St Marys churchyard, Church Street, Littlehampton, BN17 5EN
- St Nicholas, London Rd, Arundel. BN18 QAT
All of the cemeteries can be visited at anytime all year round.

Further information on the cemeteries can be found in a booklet entitled ’Cemetery Information’ and can be obtained either on request from the Cemeteries Office or by clicking on the link below
It contains detail about burials, interment of ashes, including how to apply to have a memorial and the sizes and types of memorial permitted, information on purchasing a grave (Exclusive Right of Burial) and other items which you may find useful.
Application forms are available from local Stonemasons [pdf] 12KB who will also advise you of all the fees and charges payable, or you can contact the Council Offices, who will also be able to help.
