Arun District Council's Drainage Engineers work towards reducing the risk of surface water flooding for the residents of Arun. This includes the checking of drainage details submitted in support of planning applications, managing (as a landowner) certain Land Drainage systems. We also work closely with other landowners, Parish Councils, West Sussex County Council, Flood Action Groups, the Environment Agency and Southern Water Services to ensure that everybody fulfils their responsibilities.
