East Bank Enhancements
Designs proposals for the enhancement of the East Bank tidal wall in Littlehampton were displayed at a public exhibition in December 2011. The public were invited to comment on two enhancement options produced by landscape consultants LDA Design.
Following a review of the public consultation results a preferred design proposal was produced by the consultants and approved by Full Council on 21st February 2012. Arun District Council has committed £1.3m in its capital budget to ensure the enhancement scheme can proceed.
The approved design has been forwarded to the Environment Agency (EA) for the detailed design stage and implementation. Please refer to the Environment Agency website for the news.
