Individual Cabinet Member Decisions
Role
Cabinet Members are also able to take decisions on an individual basis where they have been delegated authority within the Council’s Constitution. Examples include the letting of a contract for works to Council properties or facilities; and receiving monitoring reports on service delivery.
The process allows for notice to be given in advance of a decision being taken and a decision notice is issued once the Cabinet Member has considered the officer’s report and signed off the decision.
