Leisure, Tourism and Culture

Home to award winning beaches and parks, historical monuments, picture postcard villages and the South Downs, Arun's got it all.
Covering the three main towns of Arundel, Littlehampton and Bognor Regis, the district is home to around 140,000 people and borders Chichester to the west and Worthing to the east, and was recently voted one of the very best places in the country to live by the Halifax building society.
Its contrasting features are what make it so cherished. From the rolling landscapes of the South Downs - Britain's newest National Park - to miles of picturesque coastline, Arun is blessed with some of the highest sunshine hours on mainland Britain.
Bognor Regis and Littlehampton are both benefiting from extensive regeneration plans and the Council's priority of ensuring a clean and safe district in which to live, work and visit, is taken directly from its residents.
