Consultation
A six week period of public consultation undertaken by Arun District Council on the LDF Core Strategy 'Options for Growth' and Initial Sustainability Commentary ended on the 2nd April 2009.
The Council will not be responding to individual points made but will take everyone's views into account in the analysis of comments.
A report outlining the consultation process and finding was presented to the LDF Sub Committee on the 23 July, in addition a summary report of the consultation responses has been prepared. To view the responses please click on the links shown below

Detail of Three Preferred Options for Strategic Development in Arun
Strategic dev Arun District Council published a Core Strategy 'Options for Growth' Document providing full details of the options for strategic development, together with a leaflet providing summary details of the three 'Options for Growth', a Sustainability Comparative Summary and an Initial Sustainability Commentary. Please note that the questionnaire featured on the final page of the leaflet was intended for use only as part of the public consultation exercise.
Strategic development is large scale development of new homes, as well as all other essential infrastructure including employment space, schools, community facilities, parks and transport improvements.
The Initial Sustainability Commentary provides useful information views on the three 'Options for Growth'.
