Service Standards to Business
The council has clear customer service standards which all employees adhere to. They are enshrined in the Customer Care Charter [pdf] 400KB which is called "In our Customers' Shoes"
Each Department has its own specific service standards which are displayed within their web pages.
Additionally, as the Economic & Cultural Development Unit deals mainly with people from outside the council, we commit to communicating with low levels of jargon, clear english and no acronyms.
