Voting slip There are three weeks to go until the UK Parliamentary General Election so we thought we would share a reminder of key dates to note.

The deadline to apply for a new postal vote or to change or cancel an existing postal vote is 5pm on 26 November.

Requests for new proxy votes must be received by Arun District Council by 5pm on 4 December.

You should all have your poll card by now. If you do, this means you are registered and don’t need to register again.

If you have registered in the last few weeks, you will receive a poll card shortly. If you haven’t registered then you have until 26 November to complete the registration process in order to be able to vote in this election on 12 December 2019.

Details of how to register can be found on the Arun District Council website https://www.arun.gov.uk/registration

When you get your poll card, don’t forget to check your polling station details in case they have changed since the last election. Polling stations will be open from 7am until 10pm on Thursday 12 December 2019. The Count for the election will take place overnight once polling stations have closed.
