It’s time to dust off your bucket and spade – Beach on the Beach on Bognor Regis seafront is set to open again this April in time for Easter.
The large sand play area for youngsters is a free activity next to the promenade opposite Place St Maur. It has become home to many a great sandcastle in the last two years.
It is due to reopen on the weekend of 8 April 2017 after proving to be a hit since it was launched in 2015.
Due to its popularity, Arun District Council doubled the size of the play area last year as well as providing seating so parents can rest and watch the fun.
Councillor Mrs Gillian Brown, Leader of Arun District Council and Cabinet Member for Council Strategy, said: “Beach on the Beach started life as a trial project to see how popular it would be so we’re delighted to open it for a third season.
“The feedback from those who’ve used it shows that youngsters and their families, whether they are local people or visitors to Bognor Regis, really enjoy this attraction so we expect to see it full of smiling faces again this spring and summer.”
