A public consultation on proposals for the second phase of work to transform Littlehampton is now up and running.
Residents are being urged to have their say on the plans, which focus on the seafront greens and promenade and links from Littlehampton town centre, to provide a better connection between the town, seafront and riverside.
This second phase will follow the design work already successfully undertaken in Littlehampton Town Centre.
The conceptual proposals have been developed by LDA Design; Landscape Architects appointed to work with Arun District Council to deliver the East Bank Public Realm Scheme and the recent design plans for Littlehampton town centre.
The consultation runs from Wednesday 8 March to Wednesday 29 March, 2017. Exhibition boards will be on display at an unmanned exhibition in the Arun Civic Centre reception, Littlehampton, throughout the consultation period.
A public exhibition will also take place on 23, 24, 25 March between 11am to 3pm at the Look & Sea Centre, 61-63 Surrey Street, Littlehampton, BN17 5AW, where the design team will answer any questions the public may have.
This design plans for the seafront have been developed in order to seek the views of the public and enable the Council to apply for external funding in the future to help deliver a new and exciting space for Littlehampton.
The design concepts and on-line survey are available at www.arun.gov.uk/regeneration-in-littlehampton for those who wish to consider the plans and share their views.
