Notice of casual vacancy

I hereby give notice, in accordance with Section 87[2] of the Local Government Act 1972, that a casual vacancy has occurred in the office of District Councillor for the ARUNDEL AND WALBERTON WARD in the District of Arun following Councillor Faye Catterton’s failure to attend meetings.

A by-election to fill the vacancy will be held if two local government electors from the District of Arun give notice in writing to me, as the Returning Officer, requesting such an election. Any request should be directed to me at the following address:
