Arun District Council Community Infrastructure Levy consultation starts soon
Arun District Council is preparing a Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL). This is a planning charge which can be used as a tool for local authorities to help deliver infrastructure to support the development in their area.
As part of the preparation of the Arun CIL, the Planning Policy Sub-Committee agreed, at its meeting on 5 December 2018, to consult on a first draft of the CIL charges. The consultation starts on 10 December 2018 and ends at 5pm on 21 January 2019.

To read a hard copy of the report, the consultation document and response forms are available at all libraries in the Arun district and at the reception desks in the Civic Centre, Littlehampton and at Bognor Regis Town Hall.
Following consultation, a further round of consultation will be undertaken by the council on the Draft Charging Schedule. That consultation stage will be followed by submission of the schedule to an independent examiner.
