Arun District Council Shortlisted for two National 2018 Local Land Charges Awards

 

land charges award Arun District Council has been shortlisted in the Best Customer Experience category and for the Customer Satisfaction Award at the 2018 Land Data Local Land Charges Awards for Excellence Awards. The Awards celebrate the achievements of Local Authority Local Land Charges departments across England and Wales during the past year.

The shortlist has been drawn from 268 entries and nominations submitted by a mixture of people including solicitors, conveyancers and local land charges personnel. The sponsors and judging panel is made up of representatives from the Local Land Charges Institute, the NLIS Hub, Index, SearchFlow and Land Data.

The Best Customer Experience Award category is for the Local Land Charges department that delivers an exceptional customer experience, offering value added services in order to make the search process smoother and a solicitor’s life easier. Evidence of providing urgent searches, timeliness and customer friendly electronic copy documents are among the criteria used by judges.

Jan Boothroyd, Chief Executive of Land Data, comments: “We have been really impressed by the quality of entries this year and it’s great to see so much interest. The final shortlisted local authorities can be justly proud to have reached this stage and we wish them all the very best of luck!”

Cllr John Charles, cabinet member for Planning said “To hear that our land charges team have been nominated again this year after great success at the awards in 2017 is testament to the hard work and dedication our officers display in offering a high level customer experience.”

The overall winners will be announced at an awards dinner on 5 March 2018 in Bristol.
