Award-winning Arun District Council team has made the shortlist again!
Arun District Council has been shortlisted in the 2019 Land Data Local Land Charges Awards for Excellence. The Awards celebrate the achievements of Local Authority Local Land Charges departments across England and Wales during the past year.
The Council’s Local Land Charges team have been nominated in three categories, this is a huge achievement! The team are up for Local Authority Searches Team of the Year Award, Best Customer Experience Award, and Customer Satisfaction for Local Authority Searches.
The Awards, now in their 12th year, are held annually to celebrate the achievements and successes of Local Authority Local Land Charges departments across England and Wales during the past year. These are the only national awards to celebrate the work and achievements of local authority Local Land Charges departments which carry out the land and property searches required for conveyancing transactions in England and Wales.
This year’s shortlist is made up of 46 local authority teams and 12 individuals who have all demonstrated excellence, enthusiasm and willingness to adapt and improve in a tough and uncertain market.
Cllr Stephen Haymes, cabinet member for Technical Services said “To hear that our land charges team have been nominated again this year after great success at the awards over the past three years, is testament to the commitment and hard work that the team demonstrate in their daily duties.”
The overall winners will be announced at an awards dinner on 4 March 2019 in Birmingham.
