By-election result for Bognor Regis Marine and Hatherleigh Wards

ballot box The by-election for the Arun District Council member for Marine ward and for Bognor Regis Town Council - Marine & Hatherleigh ward vacancies took place on Thursday 22 February 2018.

The successful candidate for the District seat with 309 votes was Matt Stanley, Liberal Democrats, who will join Cllr Jim Brooks, Independent Party as ward member for Marine.

There was a turn-out of 20.8% of 4730 eligible voters for the District Council ballot.

Matt Stanley was also successful in winning the Bognor Regis Town Council seat for Marine ward.

There was a turn-out of 19.96% of 4088 eligible voters for the Bognor Regis Town Council ballot for Marine ward.

Hatherleigh ward has also woken to a new councillor this morning as Damien Enticott, Labour Party was elected as the successful candidate for that ward.

There was a turn-out of 22.50% of 360 eligible voters for the Bognor Regis Town Council ballot for Hatherleigh ward.
