Electoral registration forms – it is quick and easy to respond

 

The HEF form has been designed to be as easy as possible to complete. You can respond online at http://www.householdresponse.com/Arun or by text, full details of how to do this are in the letter on the front of the form. You can also complete the process over the phone, or of course by returning the paper form that you receive through your door, you only need to choose one way of responding.

Arun District Council has begun the process of delivering an important form to your home, it may already have arrived, if not, it will be with you soon.

The Household Enquiry Form (HEF) is part of the Council’s annual canvass and is a vital way of ensuring that information on the electoral register is up to date. If you have moved home, changed your name or somebody in your household is turning 18 in the next 3 years this form is particularly important to you. It is a legal obligation to respond to this form.

Registration Officer for the district, said: “This form is not a registration form but you must complete it. By checking, completing and returning these forms, we can ensure that the process for electoral registration begins.

If you haven’t had your form by 29 July 2018, please let us know.  You have until 3 August 2018 to respond before a reminder is issued or a personal canvasser will visit.
