Following the huge success of the winter ice rink in Bognor Regis last year, residents and visitors are set to be treated to an even better experience when the seafront ice rink returns with more to offer.
This year the ice rink will be bigger, with a larger viewing and skate exchange area, more Christmas stalls selling festive treats, and a variety of exciting entertainment designed to create a real winter wonderland feel. To add to the Christmas vibe, Father Christmas will be visiting from the North Pole to take up residence in his brand new grotto ready to welcome visiting children!
James Cole, operator of Ice Skating on the Prom operator, said: "We had a brilliant year last year, with over 10,000 people enjoying a skate on the ice, so we are looking forward to coming back this year, bigger and better."
Paul Wells, Bognor Regis BID Chairman, added: “We are excited to be working with the operators of Ice Skating on the Prom and we will be extending the Christmas winter experience into the town centre. Keep an eye on the Love Bognor Regis website for full details, because it's going to be a bumper Christmas this year!
Arun District Councillor Phil Hitchins, Chairman of Bognor Regis Regeneration Sub-Committee said “I am really looking forward to this year’s winter skating experience. What a great way to welcome residents and visitors to Bognor Regis!”
