Happy Earth Day!
Here at ADC we are working hard to try to reduce our impact on the environment. We already have a number of exciting projects underway, including increasing wildflower meadows in our parks and powering parking ticket dispensers with solar energy.
We also have some projects still in development, such as our tree planting strategy. This will help us improve our woodland habitat, further increase biodiversity within the district and also help with carbon offsetting. Earlier this year a ‘Climate Change and Sustainability Officer’ was also appointed, they will be continuing our current work to help us reduce our emissions and protect the environment.
