NOTICE OF ELECTION
ELECTION OF A DISTRICT COUNCILLOR

  1. An Election is to be held for ONE District Councillor for the Barnham Ward of Arun District Council.
  2. Nomination Papers and other documents can be obtained from the Elections Office, Arun District Council, Arun Civic Centre, Maltravers Road, Littlehampton, West Sussex, BN17 5LF (telephone 01903 737615).
  3. Completed Nomination Papers and Candidates’ Consent to Nomination must be hand delivered to the Elections Office at Arun District Council, Arun Civic Centre, Maltravers Road, Littlehampton, West Sussex, BN17 5LF on any working day after the date of this notice, but not later than 4.00pm on THURSDAY, 11 AUGUST 2022.
  4. If the Election is contested, the poll will take place on THURSDAY, 8 SEPTEMBER 2022 from 7.00am to 10.00pm.
  5. Applications to register to vote or to vote by post or proxy should be made to James Hassett, Electoral Registration Officer at Arun District Council, Arun Civic Centre, Maltravers Road, Littlehampton, BN17 5LF based on the deadlines set out below:

6. The main issue of postal votes will commence on Friday, 26 August 2022.
