Neighbourhood Planning in Arun
A Referendum is being held in Kingston, Rustington and East Preston on 28 January 2015. The referendums will ensure that the local community has the final say on whether a Neighbourhood Development Plan [NDP], which establishes general planning policies for the development and use of land in a neighbourhood, comes into force in their area.
Angmering Neighbourhood Plan Referendum Results
The results of the Angmering Neighbourhood Plan Referendum on 22 January 2015 are:
Number cast in favour of a 'Yes' - votes recorded - 1768 - percentage - 96.93%
Number cast in favour of a 'No' - votes recorded - 53 - percentage - 2.91%
The turnout was 31.3%
