Candidate information will be available from 4pm on Monday 8 April 2024.

The PCC’s responsibilities

Include:

  • appointing the Chief Constable and holding them to account
  • setting the police objectives and priorities in conjunction with the Chief Constable
  • setting the force budgets and the police precept for Council Tax
  • working with partners to fund community safety activities to tackle crime and disorder

Today is the last day you can apply for and return your postal vote form or make amendments to any existing voting arrangements. If you would like to vote by post, apply now to make sure your application is processed early

17 April 2024 by 5pm

Today is the last day you can apply for and return your:

  • proxy vote application
  • voter authority certificate application

24 April 2024 by 5pm

Ballot papers posted to those that have applied to vote by post

18 to 26 April 2024
