Armed Forces Day – 27 June 2026
On this day, we unite to recognise, thank and honour all those who serve and have served in our Armed Forces.
Armed Forces Day is a time to extend our sincere gratitude to our serving personnel across the Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Air Force; to our dedicated reservists who balance civilian life with military commitment. Last but not least, gratitude to our veterans, whose service and sacrifice continue to shape our communities long after their time in uniform.
We also acknowledge the crucial support provided by Armed Forces families, whose resilience and strength underpin everything our service personnel do. Your role is invaluable.
This day is also an opportunity to recognise cadets and adult volunteers who inspire the next generation, as well as charities and support organisations that stand alongside the Armed Forces community.
From those currently on operations, to those who served in the past, to those preparing for the future - we thank you. Your dedication, professionalism and courage are deeply appreciated.
