Baby Loss Awareness Week 2026
Now in its 23rd year, Baby Loss Awareness Week starts today and provides an important opportunity to remember and reflect, support those affected and campaign for improved bereavement care and support.
The week recognises the profound impact of pregnancy and baby loss on parents, families, friends and communities. For many, the experience can be both heartbreaking and isolating. Baby Loss Awareness Week offers a chance to come together, break the silence that can often surround loss, and ensure those affected know they are not alone.
It is also an opportunity to encourage understanding and open conversations about baby loss. Through sharing experiences, remembering much-loved babies and raising awareness, this week aims to provide comfort, hope and connection to families across the UK.
To mark Baby Loss Awareness Week and show our support for all those who have experienced the loss of a precious baby, we will be illuminating both Littlehampton Civic Centre and Bognor Regis Town Hall in blue and pink throughout the week.
Our thoughts are with everyone who has been affected by the loss of a baby.
