All of Arun District Council’s offices will close over the Christmas period reopening on Tuesday 2 January 2018 at 8.45am.
Arun Civic Centre and Bognor Regis Town Hall will all be closed from 4pm on Friday 22 December 2017.

The Council does provide an emergency standby service however this is only to deal with enquiries where there is a risk of injury to persons or damage to property affecting Arun residents or for reporting stray dogs or serious and widespread noise nuisance or anti-social behaviour.
Refuse and recycling collections will be affected this year and for two weeks, starting from Dec 25, 2017, all collections will be a day late, returning to usual on Monday 8 January 2018. This is due to Christmas and New Year’s Eve falling on a Monday. Refuse crews will be working on Boxing Day and on Saturdays.
Community safety action lines will also be available over the Christmas break. Residents wishing to report any incidences of anti-social behaviour should contact the Sussex Police non-emergency number 0845 60 70 999 or 999 in an emergency. Alternatively, any information on crime or criminals can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
