Could your group benefit from a Wellbeing grant up to £1,000?

The Arun Wellbeing Small Grants scheme has an easy one-stage application process where voluntary, community and charity groups in the Arun district can apply for a grant fund of up to £1,000.

To be eligible for funding, groups and organisations must demonstrate that their activities either promote or support one, or both, of the Arun Wellbeing priorities, which are to promote physical activity and prevent social isolation.

We will also consider projects for Covid-19 recovery that have a health and wellbeing theme. Further information and guidance notes can be provided by Arun Wellbeing.

Councillor Jacky Pendleton, Chair of the Residential and Wellbeing Committee and Deputy Leader of Arun District Council, said: “This funding is designed to support local groups and organisations that work so hard to encourage people to get active, or to prevent social isolation and loneliness as these are the Arun Wellbeing core priorities.

“A financial boost could really help your organisation to develop this work - vital in creating a healthy, happy community - so please do contact us now to find out more and to see if you are eligible.”

The next deadline for submissions is Friday 15 October 2021 and applications will be considered by the appraisal panel at the beginning of November 2021. We cannot consider retrospective grants.
