Council Tax email scam
We're aware that a scam email is being sent to some residents about Council Tax arrears.
The email states that the resident's account is showing an outstanding balance that requires payment. We can confirm this email is not from Arun District Council.
To check if an email address is suspicious, hover your mouse over the "from" address (without clicking) to reveal the actual email address. Or if its on your mobile, hold your finger over the email address and if it differs from Arun District Council, it's very likely a phishing or scam attempt.
