Council’s Parks & Greenspace Service takes over Kingley Gate outdoor recreation

Greenspace Service takes over Kingley Gate outdoor recreation The land forming the sports pitches at Littlehampton’s Kingley Gate has now been transferred to us from developers Barratt, David Wilson Homes.

The site, including the popular multi age play area, will now be managed and maintained by our Parks and Greenspace Service. Any general enquiries can be made to parks@arun.gov.uk.    

A pavilion with changing room facilities is available and bookings can be made through Arun’s outdoor recreation provider, Tivoli Lifestyle Tivoli Lifestyle | Outdoor Leisure Activities (isslifestyle.co.uk)

Councillor David Edwards, Chair of the Environment Committee at Arun District Council, said: “These grounds overlook some of the most spectacular views in Sussex offering residents of Littlehampton another opportunity to participate in outdoor recreation, which is increasingly important for the health and wellbeing of our society. I am very pleased that the site has now been transferred into the very capable hands of our Parks and Greenspace Service.”
