This Saturday (6 December), our local towns join the nationwide celebration, dedicated to supporting the independent businesses that make our district special.

Our small businesses are a vibrant and key part of our towns and villages, offering a wide variety of high-quality products and services.

Why not warm up with a coffee or enjoy a meal at one of our many independent cafés and restaurants?

With an estimated 5.5 million small businesses in the UK, we can show our support by buying some of our Christmas gifts locally.

Why Shop Small?

Small businesses are the backbone of the local economy. Every pound spent locally helps:

  • create jobs for local people
  • keep money in the community, supporting schools, services, and infrastructure
  • preserves character and charm, ensuring our high streets remain vibrant and diverse

We are offering free parking all day at the car parks below this Saturday:

  • Hothamton, Queensway, Bognor Regis
  • Manor House and St Martins, Littlehampton
  • Crown Yard (town centre) Mill Road and Fitzalan Pool, Queen Street - in Arundel (and the same here on 13 December)

Pay a visit to your local town or village, find some wonderful Christmas gifts, and check out the fabulous Christmas decorations we have in our District.

Join us this Saturday and celebrate the businesses that make our towns unique. Shop small, shop local, and show your support!
