Did you know? We want your views on recycling in West Sussex
Last year, 61% of West Sussex Recycles survey respondents said they wanted to know more about what can and can't be recycled at home. In response, 24 new recycling animations were created and have launched over the past year. These short videos focus on specific materials - such as black plastics, nappies, and bathroom items - and explain how to dispose of them correctly at home.
You can view them here: How can I get more information on recycling and waste prevention?
This is just one example of how valuable last summer's recycling survey was in helping us talk to residents about recycling and waste prevention. That's why the West Sussex Waste Partnership is running it again!
As part of their ongoing mission to reduce waste and increase recycling, they're re-launching the short survey to better understand local knowledge about recycling and waste prevention in West Sussex. Whether or not you've taken part in a previous survey, they'd love to hear from you.
Click here to take part - the survey is open until midnight on Monday, 30 June 2025.
