Goodbye for now from our Beach Patrol Team
As the summer holidays come to a close, today marks the final day for our seasonal Beach Patrol team, and the RNLI lifeguards are also wrapping up their summer duties.
It's been a fantastic season, and we'd like to say a big thank you to everyone - from those who helped with events to all who followed our safety advice and encouraged others to do the same.
It's been wonderful to see so many of you enjoying The West Green over the past few weeks. Thank you for making the most of this lovely space - and we look forward to welcoming you back next year!
As we head into autumn and winter, we wish you safe and enjoyable visits to the coast. Please remember, if you see someone in trouble in or near the sea or find yourself in difficulty - call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
A quick reminder: our beach byelaws for dogs and horses remain in place until 30 September 2025. Read more here: Our rules for activities allowed on our beaches. | Arun District Council
Stay safe and we'll see you next spring!
