Local Land Charges team nominated for a national award - again!
We're thrilled to announce that our award‑winning Local Land Charges Team has been shortlisted once again in the Land Data Excellence Awards 2026!
This year, the team has been nominated for the Customer Satisfaction Award, recognising our commitment to speed, accuracy, professionalism, and exceptional service.
As part of their vital role, our Local Land Charges Team maintains the district's official register of charges and restrictions on land and property, processes accurate and timely LLC1 and CON29 searches (legal restriction checks) to support property transactions, provides key information for solicitors and search companies, and manages essential datasets such as street naming, numbering and the Local Land and Property Gazetteer. Their work ensures that anyone buying or selling property in Arun has access to reliable, up‑to‑date information - an essential foundation for safe and efficient conveyancing.
We're also incredibly proud that one of our team members has been shortlisted for Best Performing Team Member - a fantastic achievement and richly deserved recognition of dedication and consistently high performance.
This year's nominations are particularly special as they mark 10 consecutive years of Arun being nominated for or winning Land Data awards.
Winners will be announced later this month, where local authorities, industry experts and Government representatives will come together to discuss the future of land and property data.
