Magical sensory experience returns to Hotham Park this winter

coming soon enchanted After the success of the ‘Alice in Winterland’ festive event hosted by the council last December, we are back this year with something even bigger and better!

‘Enchanted Woodland’ is a magical sensory winter experience featuring light, sound and projections across the Bognor Regis park to capture the imagination of all.

Designed to be fully inclusive and using a variety of effects, it will immerse you in a fairytale experience to get you feeling festive in the run-up to Christmas.

The event will run from Monday 4 December to Sunday 17 December 2023, between 3.30-8.30 pm and take up six illuminated ‘zones’ of the park’s woodland canopy. You don’t need to book and best of all it’s FREE!

The Hotham Park Miniature Railway will be operating as will Wildforest Falls Miniature Golf, and Hotham Park Café will be open for food and hot and cold drinks - with many other fantastic cafés and restaurants just a short walk away in the town centre.

The popular ‘Ice Rink in the Park’ will also return to the London Road lorry park next to the park and will run from November 24 until January 2. As in previous years, the attraction will sit alongside hot drink and food stalls, with lots of rides.

Councillor Sue Wallsgrove, Chair of the Environment Committee at Arun District Council, said:

“Last year’s Alice in Winterland lights trail proved to be very popular so we’re delighted to be able to offer something bigger and better this year. We’ve worked hard to put this together and we are confident that people will enjoy it. It really is a magical wintry experience that will add a bit of charm to the end of the year as we all get into the festive spirit ready for the big day!”
