National Clean Air Day – 19 June 2025
Today is National Clean Air Day when we are encouraged to use sustainable travel and promote cleaner air.

In conjunction with Clean Air Day the Sussex Air partnership are promoting the Sussex Air Quality conference which will be held on Thursday 9 October 2025 at Sussex University campus, Falmer.
The conference is being organised by the Sussex Air Partnership and will have a range of speakers from Air Quality experts, NHS consultants and UKHSA.
Join the Sussex Air Partnership for a day filled with insightful discussions on all things air quality. Whether you're a local authority officer, local councillor, health worker or simply interested in the topic, this event is perfect for anyone looking to learn more about the impact of air pollution on our physical health, our environment and climate change.
Experts from the worlds of academia, the NHS and Public Health will provide insight into the issue and provide examples of projects helping to combat the health effects.
