New 2026 Town Centre Parking Disc – coming soon!

Two purple and pink parking discs for 2026 are shown, featuring a white arrival time dial at the top. The discs display text indicating they are valid from 1 January to 31 December 2026 and allow two hours of free parking only. Locations listed include Bognor Regis (Fitzleet, Lyon Street, and Hothamton car parks) and Littlehampton (St Martins, Anchor Springs, and Manor House car parks). The price of £6 and the Arun District Council logo are visible at the bottom. Beneath the discs, bold text reads: “New 2026 town centre parking disc available soon.”Arun District Council is pleased to announce the launch of the 2026 Town Centre Parking Disc, offering residents and visitors two hours of free parking once per day in six participating car parks across Littlehampton and Bognor Regis.

The most convenient and cost-effective way to access this benefit is through the MiPermit app, where the virtual disc costs just £4 for the entire year. That's less than 8p per week for daily free parking in town centre locations.

The virtual disc will be available to purchase from 22 November via our website and is valid from 1 January to 31 December 2026. If you already use the app and had a virtual parking disc for 2025, you'll need to purchase a new virtual disc for 2026.

The car parks where the 2-hour parking disc can be used are:

  • Littlehampton: St Martins, Anchor Springs, Manor House
  • Bognor Regis: Fitzleet, Lyon Street, Hothamton
  • The 2025 discs remain valid until 31 December 2025

For those who prefer a physical option, cardboard discs are available for £6 and offer the same two-hour daily parking benefit. Further information on the 2026 scheme is available on our website - 2026 2-hour parking disc scheme | Arun District Council

Councillor Roger Nash, Chair of the Economy Committee at Arun District Council, said:

"This scheme continues to support our town centres, making it easier and more affordable for people to shop local and enjoy our high streets. The price of virtual and physical discs will remain the same for the duration of Arun District Council's existence, giving certainty and encouragement to shoppers and local businesses.”

Arun District Council officers will be in Littlehampton High Street on Saturday, 22 November from 3pm to 8pm, selling the new discs during Littlehampton Town Council's Christmas light switch-on event.
