Today is Sussex Day and we are flying our Sussex Day flags proudly. 

The current work to the drainage connection, at the junction of Banjo Road with South Terrace, is taking longer than anticipated due to an unexpected obstruction below the ground. The traffic controls will therefore be in place for a few more days to enable this to be completed.

Although it is warm and sunny today, the Met Office have set a weather warning for thunderstorms and heavy rain in the south east later.
