SWEP activation – 29 December 2025
SWEP has been extended until further notice due to predicted “feels like” temperatures below 0°C.
All rough sleepers in Arun who have no alternative option during this period can access a SWEP bed should they wish.
Please go to Stonepillow, Bognor Regis Hub, Basement, Glenlogie House, Clarence Road, Bognor Regis PO21 1JT, between the hours of 7pm and 9pm to register for a bed each night.
Arun's Outreach team has alerted all known rough sleepers about the provision and how to access it.
If you are concerned about someone sleeping rough:
- report via StreetLink: https://www.streetlink.org.uk
- direct them to our day hub services at Turning Tides (Littlehampton) or Stonepillow (Bognor Regis) for further information on accessing SWEP
For referrals outside office hours, please call 01903 737500.
Clients accessing SWEP will receive:
- a hot meal, drinks, and snacks
- a bed for the duration of SWEP
- support with seeking longer-term accommodation options
