Tree planting at Littlehampton Cemetery – Friday, 10 April 2026
Join us as we celebrate the fifth year of our Tree Planting Strategy with a community event to plant a new wildlife hedge at Littlehampton Cemetery, Horsham Road, BN17 6LX.
Previous events in the Arun district have drawn a fantastic turnout, even when the weather wasn't on our side - your support meant a great deal to us. We're hoping for the same enthusiastic response with this event, and as it falls during the Easter holidays, it's a perfect opportunity for families to make a day of it.
- we will be planting over 100 mixed native whips, to increase the wildlife corridors and biodiversity in the area
- this is an outdoor event so good footwear, a warm coat and clothes you don't mind getting dirty, are a must!
- please bring along some work gloves and if possible, a gardening spade
- if it is a cold or wet day you may want to bring along a hot flask to refuel yourself
- there is limited car parking at on site
- families welcome - children must be supervised
