Windmill Entertainment Centre Update 12 January 2024 | Latest news

We are pleased to be ending this week with an update on the work taking place at the Windmill Entertainment Centre.

All internal work from Arun District Council Contractors is now complete. Whilst this work was taking place an additional leak was found above the boiler room which is being repaired. We have also started additional work on external decoration of the centre while Freedom Leisure complete their internal work. It is important to note that the repair of the roof will not delay works being completed by Freedom Leisure.

Freedom Leisure contractors are also continuing and are on schedule. The new studio floor is due to be installed next week and replacement carpet for the auditorium has been measured, sourced, and ordered. The Freedom Leisure team are working closely with their contractors and are confident in their timelines.

Progress is on schedule, and we remain confident of a spring reopening.
