Windmill Entertainment Centre update - 16 February 2024
Repair work continues at the Windmill Entertainment Centre, with Freedom Leisure’s team and Arun District Council contractors on site daily. The studio flooring is now complete and decoration of the area is ongoing. Replacement carpets will be laid to the auditorium during the week of 4 March and replacement internal electrical appliances have been ordered.
The removal of asbestos has been delayed by one week due to weather conditions during the time that work was scheduled to happen - weather permitting we anticipate this to be completed very shortly. Due to water damage, we are planning to replace the buildings fire panel and system pre-opening. We don’t anticipate these works delaying reopening in Spring.
