Settlement Hierarchy Study
Arun District Council has published an updated Settlement Hierarchy Study [pdf] 2MB (Nov 2025), which replaces the previous version published in 2007. The study explores the relationship between the various settlements within Arun and identifies current infrastructure levels within each settlement.
Community Profiles
Below is a list of community profiles, which were published as a joint project by Action in Rural England (ACRE) in 2013. The community profiles are structured around eight issues that have been identified as important for a sustainable community, these are: social & cultural, equity, economy, housing & the built environment, transport & connectivity, services, environmental, and governance.
