South Downs National Park Local Planning Authority

There are some areas that fall within both ADC and SDNP. However, due to the majority of the settlement being in the SDNP, they are the Local Planning Authority dealing with the consultations.

More information about these consultations can be found on the Current Consultations page on the South Downs National Park website.

Alternatively, you can email us at neighbourhood@southdowns.gov.uk.

Neighbourhood Plan where SDNP is the Local Planning Authority but needs to consult with ADC

Clapham Neighbourhood Development Plan

Clapham Parish Council are preparing a Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for Clapham. The Parish Council submitted the Clapham NDP and accompanying documents to the SDNPA and Arun District Council on 4 August 2015.  The SDNPA and Arun DC are publicising the Clapham Neighbourhood Development Plan for consultation from Friday 21st August to 2nd October 2015.

Please note:  SDNP is the Local Planning Authority for Clapham and the whole of the designated neighbourhood area lies within the SDNP so Arun District Council does not need to ‘make’ the Plan.

Findon Neighbourhood Development Plan

Findon Parish Council are consulting on their draft Neighbourhood Development Plan (known as the ‘pre-submission’ draft). Further details on the Plan and how to respond are available at the Findon Neighbourhood Plan website. The consultation is open from 4th August until 16th September 2015.

Please note:  SDNP is the Local Planning Authority for Findon and the whole of the designated neighbourhood area lies within the SDNP so Arun District Council does not need to ‘make’ the Plan.
