Voucher competition – terms and conditions

1. Promoter

This prize draw is organised by Arun District Council, Civic Centre, Maltravers Road, Littlehampton, West Sussex, BN17 5LF (the “council”)

2. Eligibility

  • open to residents aged 18 or over who live within the Arun district
  • employees of the council and their immediate families are not eligible to enter
  •  only one entry per person is permitted

3. How to enter

  • to enter, download and sign up to the Arun District Council app between 1 November 2025 and 24 December 2025 (23:59 GMT). Entries received after this time will not be counted. Everyone who has already downloaded the app will also be entered into the draw
  • no purchase is necessary
  • the prize draw is free to enter
  • entries will only be accepted via the official Arun District Council app

4. Prize details

  • five winners will each receive a £100 shopping voucher within 30 days of being notified of their win
  • vouchers will be for a retailer of the council's choosing                and are non-transferable and non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is offered
  • the council reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the council's control make it necessary to do so

5. Winner selection and notification

  • winners will be notified via the contact details provided  during app sign-up by 15 January 2026
  • if a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days, the prize may be forfeited and a new winner selected
  • the decision of the council regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it

6. Data protection and publicity

  • personal data will only be processed in accordance with the council's privacy policy and used solely for the purpose of administering the prize draw
  • the council must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, the council will send the surname and county of the winners to anyone who writes to the address set out in clause 1 (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date
  • if you object to any or all of your surname and county being published or made available, please contact the council. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request

7. General

  • the council reserves the right to amend or cancel the prize draw at any time
  • by entering, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions
  • this prize draw and these terms and conditions are governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales
