Lights, camera, action! Come and film in Arun

Boasting award-winning beaches and parks, picturesque villages, unique architecture and a wealth of heritage, Arun offers a great setting to film your best scenes.

Arun District Council has just produced a new filming brochure to showcase the district’s wide range of locations, including famous landmarks and some hidden gems.

Examples include the beauty and heritage of Green Flag-winning Hotham Park in Bognor Regis, and the East Bank in Littlehampton which has recently been completely transformed with a spacious, modern design including huge stones for the public to sit on and gaze out to sea.

If it’s a historical backdrop you’re after, Arundel is famous for its stunning castle and cathedral and most of Arun’s attractions offer parking close by.

Councillor Paul Dendle, Arun District Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure and Amenities, said: “The new brochure really showcases some of the most attractive and interesting parts of Arun and we believe the district has lots to offer anyone seeking to film in a fantastic location.

“In addition, if you are seeking permission to film on Arun District Council owned or controlled land, it’s very straightforward as we have one main point of contact for all enquiries and we charge very reasonable rates.”

Please contact Arun District Council on 01903 737920 to discuss your requirements, or email events@arun.gov.uk. There’s also more information on our council website or on the Sussex by the Sea tourism website.
