You can rent a garage if you are an existing council tenant or a private resident living in the Arun area.
Garages are let for the use of storing cars, vans or motorcycles. They can be used for storage as long as you have insurance to cover the contents.
You will not be considered for a garage if you are in arrears with your council housing rent.
We are currently not accepting new applicants until further notice. We will update this page when we reopen the waiting list.
The notice required to end your garage tenancy is one week. Tenancies run from Monday to Sunday so notice will need to be received on or before the Monday for the tenancy to end the following Sunday.
Please email: garages@arun.gov.uk with your name, the garage number and address and the tenancy end date.
You will then be contacted with details of how to return the garage keys.
