Arun District Council provides…
Community safety and safeguarding advice, including information on:
- tackling antisocial behaviour
- keeping vulnerable people safe (children and adults)
- help with domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking
- suicide awareness and prevention
- guidance on modern slavery
- advice on scams
- cost of living support
Support for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, providing advice and assistance when it is needed most, including:
- emergency housing
- rough sleeping support services - we have a dedicated team
- debt advice
- rent arrears
- claiming benefits
- signposting to organisations and charities that offer help
Health and wellbeing support through Arun Wellbeing, helping residents improve their physical and mental health, including:
- weight loss
- getting active
- wellbeing at work (for employers)
- blood pressure checks
- drinking less alcohol
- stopping smoking
- keeping warm and energy advice
Lifeline Telecare offers:
- a personal alarm service that helps older and vulnerable residents live independently and with confidence
- peace of mind to those using it and their loved ones
- experienced staff will help you choose the right equipment for you
