Did you know that out of the 20,000 annual renewal forms we sent to electors this year, 5,000 postal votes had to be cancelled because we didn't receive a response?
This means those electors will no longer receive a postal vote unless they reapply.

Poll cards will begin being delivered from 30 March 2026

When yours arrives, please take a moment to check whether it confirms you have a postal vote, especially if that's how you prefer to vote. If your card shows that you don't have a postal vote, it's important to apply as soon as possible if you still want to vote by post. You can apply online at: www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote

The deadline to apply for a postal vote is 5pm on Tuesday 21 April, ahead of the upcoming West Sussex County Council elections.
