Consultation on the Planning Local Validation Requirements Lists

There are a number of different planning validation lists based on the type of planning application that is being made. The list provides guidance on what supporting documentation needs to be provided with a planning application in order for it to be treated as a valid application. The list is made up of two parts, the national planning validation requirements and the local validation requirements. The local validation requirements need to be reviewed every two years and a consultation exercise carried out .

Following the consultation exercise which closed on 8 April, the following lists come into effect on 1 May 2024.
